Building a Scalable Multi-Channel Growth Engine
At Verdi, I led the digital and creative transformation required to scale a niche ecommerce operation into a high-volume, multi-channel ecosystem. As the catalog expanded from 300 to 4,000+ SKUs, I designed the visual and structural frameworks necessary to maintain brand integrity and conversion performance across all touchpoints.
I quickly realized the Verdi growth was bottlenecked by a lack of search visibility, connectivity to Google ad spend, and inefficient content workflows. Rather than staying within my design remit, I stepped ‘beyond’ my role to architect a complete SEO and AI-assisted content engine.
- Integrated Design System: Developed a cohesive visual language connecting paid media, marketplace listings, and DTC storefronts to ensure a unified customer journey.
- UX & Merchandising Architecture: Architected a mobile-first, high-searchability UX to support a complex catalog of new and refurbished electronics, prioritizing trust signals and clear navigation.
- Full-Funnel Creative: Built high-performance ad structures across search and social, paired with optimized landing pages and lifecycle (Email/SMS) systems to drive retention and AOV.
- Marketplace Optimization: Standardized visual assets and messaging for Google, Bing, Amazon and eBay to improve visibility and brand consistency in competitive third-party environments.
The Impact: Scaled raw startup revenue from $100K to $1.5M in year one, with the infrastructure positioned to hit $3M by year two. The result was a robust, data-driven digital presence that turned a complex product catalog into a streamlined, high-conversion engine.
